How do u think about Hummer H1 for a new fledged driver ?

My youngest brother got a driving license recently and eager to have a new car.

He is much interested in Hummer H1.

How do you think about it as the first car of young boy ?|||It sounds a little dangerous (perhaps to other people on the road) for a first car. If your brother/family can afford it, at least you know it's not as easily squashed as something like a Civic. But if he's paying for expenses himself, then gas is going to cost a lot, and he may be tempted to drive it somewhat recklessly since it is a Hummer and he's newly licensed. I'd say a used, regular-sized car or SUV would be a smarter choice.|||thats because the jeep was tboned lol. if the taurus was tboned it could have bent the chassis and such. and then the jeep would have needed less work

|||Not a good idea at all. Insurance and gas would be really expensive. He should get a Taurus from 86-91 (perferably SHO model (89-91)). They are very safe and have lots of room. The SHOs are very fast, for being a family sedan.
