How much would it cost to import a hummer h3 in india from usa?

if it costs aprox $40000 in usa,if i pay all the duties and taxes, shipping, how much would it cost me after all expenses?|||I have a H2 2007 model..I bought it for 73000$ ...I figured, i have to change it from left hand drive to right hand to drive it in India...which is done only in chicago and CA...the Conversion and shipping price came up to 25000$...(73000+25000 = 98000$...)The best option is to buy the hummer form these...http://www.intercep.co.uk/RHDH2.htm

and ship it to india ....The total for a h2 comes out to 62000$(including s%26amp;h)...i dont know about h3...|||you need to consider the possibility that once outside the USA it may be more expensive to ship back to your mother land because of the inspections and transfer of title .... I have seen these questions in the past and usually the resolve is that it is better to buy a vehicle in the country in which you reside... If you are planning to live in India and not return to the USA then go for it === call or go on line to the India Consulate or Embassy and tell them what you are planning and seek permission and the paperwork to ship the vehicle to their country == you need the paperwork and remember that their Customs Dept. has the right to make a through inspection of the vehicle (like tearing out the door panels and stuff) -- it all needs careful consideration and your decision as to the """ IS IT WORTH ALL THE TROUBLE???""" ....|||$40,000 to INR + 115% of tax. You will end up shedding 60 laks on this.

Another reason I hate Indian crap government. India can't produce cheaper cars and at the same time they make the import impossible. But as for a hummer 60laks is still worth. You wont be able to find a better vehicle in india with that price.|||Wait a bit longer, because nobody's buying these monuments to bad taste. Price is bound to go down. Used they're even less. Be patient and haggle like you've only got a hundred bucks.|||Well, you'd have to include the cost of the environmental damage that you would cause driving one of those monsters, so...a lot of money.|||$40,000?!

well your loss but here u go

+$15,000 for plane and fuel

your goodotherwise
