Recently, i bought a new vehicle,it is the Hummer H3. The dealer advises me using special petrol(#95), but i would like to use the super petrol(#98). My friends told me that the super petrol could damage the engine. So what about your good idea?|||us yanks just put #87 in them. it will not hurt the engine at first but it will build up on your valve seats and stems causing less airflow which causes less fuel economy. if your car says #95 that is because it is engineered to be operated on #95 and it is best to follow manufacturer standers.
besides higher octane burns up faster and dirtier than lower. use the #95 you will be happier in the long run|||No it doesn't damage your engine because the difference of bot are nothing but you can loose the warranty
