What kind of gas mileage does a Hummer get?

Do you any of own one or know somebody who owns one? It's not that I want one. I'm just curious to see how abysmal the fuel economy is. LOL.|||John, apparently you don't have a brain, you can't for a ridiculous answer as yours. No vehicle gets mpg's that bad. Next time read a book, or actually get out in the world and ask some Hummer drivers what mpg's they get, you can even look at what it says on the dash.|||Well I know two people with a Hummer one is an H1 and one is an H2. The H1 is a diesel, and the H2 is a gas. The H1 says it gets 2 MPG on the dash when he has the pedal on the floor, but averages about 15-20 mpg depending on the driver and speed. The H2 says it gets 1 MPG pedal to the floor, but averages around the same 15-25 MPG depending on speed and the driver. The guy with the H2 decided to add a Hydrogen boost, so electrolysis when there is energy being wasted, at idle or whatever, then dump the hydrogen for a real good boost that is Eco friendly, and doesn't hurt the motor.|||well lets just say insted of saying they get 20 miles a gallon they get a mile for every 20 gallons. yup... but in 2005 modles it was about 9 mpg in the 2010 its about 18. oh yeah and thats highway. city is less.
