Can you get a tax break on a Hummer H1 because of the weight?

I recently heard this. How do you go about it? Do you have to claim it as farm equipment or something?

I'm looking into buying an H1 (loved 'em when I drove 'em in the Air Force) and this might make my decision easier.|||That wouldnt suprise me , the government giving the heaviest , least gas effecient (except diesel model) , and largest vehicle a "tax break" . God bless America . . This tops the list of b.s I've heard and guess what its true ..wtfbbq

HUMMER ceased production on the H1 in 2005 for the 2006 model. A 2000 H1 in good shape will cost you about $40,000.

You won't get a tax break for driving one, unless you donate it to the Army. Actually, you will be subject to a one-time only gas guzzler tax, which is generally about $2400.|||i think you can list it as business. if i remember cars over 1 ton can be a tax write off for business, im not sure about the whole thing but H1, nice at least it's not a plastic H2! :P|||no
