What is the point of owning a hummer?

i can see if maybe you are in search and rescue or the army...but why would you buy one of these things? do you have a family of 20 that needs to be transported across mountains and lakes everyday? is it really because you think it makes you look cool?|||I've heard it said once "if you got a small package, you better have a big wallet"





I really think it says A LOT about a man that HAS to have such a huge waste of vehicle. Especially when he's riding ALONE.|||lol good point, i guess they like pollutin the earth even more|||Actual I did have a big family and almost never had room. We traveled every in the car and plus lugguage very uncomfortable. Plus ur safer if u ever get in accidents and with darn crappy drivers these u just feel that much safer.|||i love hummers!

it looks nice


very roomy for ppl who like to travle


its safer.. for like car accidents and stuff


some ppl like big cars


and alot of ppl think it look very cool

personaly love hummers!.. i see nothing wrong wit dem|||yep for the most part a status symbol....|||There isn't a good answer to your question. A common misconception with hummers is that they are military grade--they are not. The hummers the military have are completely different.


I thnk it's a complex. Don't they get 8mpg or something insane like that? Surely that's not a realistic family vehicle.


I think people that drive them are compensating for something...lol, just my 2 cents.|||Actually, it is. There is no point to having one. Idiots are born every day.|||i agree with smart e...very small privates...big vehicle make them feel like a real man...so they think...actually makes them look like a basket ball player..or an idiot i am not sure which...|||Everyone has different taste in cars, people like them for their own reasons. Im sure the car you have others would be like, why would that person want a car like that? Thats what makes us all unique. Now i do agree they guzzle gas, but they have new ones that get better gas mileage and look nice. personally i love the original H1. Plus they are very safe cars, safety is important.|||first of all the hummer does not have much room inside, and second some people WILL only fit in hummers, and third some people love buying them because they like to annoy people like you.





final point: one mans junk is another mans treasure
