A man filed a police report stating that items to include his GPS unit were stolen out of his Hummer, which was left unlocked. Although, the other vehicles on his property were not missing anything. It is hard for me to believe he would leave a Hummer unlocked unless he wanted the items to be stolen. Maybe, the reason was to collect on insurance so he could make the Hummer payment.??? Anyway, I would like to get some feedback on this question, please.|||You would be amazed at the stupid things people do. I knew a family who use to leave the top down on their convertible with the keys in the ignition.|||Short answer: Yes.
Longer answer: Your question implies intent- "... so the contents could be stolen" implies that the Hummer owner intended for stuff to be stolen. You and I can't judge intent, an event that occurs only inside the guy's head. But we can look at other facts and see if he acted judiciously and prudently. If you would never leave your Hummer unlocked, that's good. Not sure why he did- go inside for a hot minute, intending to run right back out? Yeah, i might do that. Not sure I'd leave everything visible while I went on a two -week trip, though. How do you know he has a Hummer payment?
Some people have more money than sense, true enough. Not really sure why this matters to you, though.|||ON HIS PROPERTY. Depending on where the property is I might. Depends on how secure the area is. I mean come on someone could break out a window just as easy as they could open a door on my land as far as if I would notice or not. Keep in mind that not everyone has an alarm|||It's depends on your age and where you live as well, type of car, etc. I would shop insurance coverage online and get quotes from various insurance companies. Try a reputable site like:
www.mycheapinsurance.net|||If you leave your vehicle unlocked and stuff is stolen out of it, I don't think the insurers will pay out.|||We see **** like that happen all the time where I live.
Wanna unload a problem? get it stolen.|||Sounds suspicious to me.
