Whats better a Hummer H3 year 2008 or a Toyota Land Cruiser 1994 in great shape?

Please tell me how many people can fit in a hummer h3 too, and tell me if it wastes a lot of gas thank you.|||I would choose the Land Cruiser, personally. I've never been very impressed with the GM Hummer products. I believe the focus is on the image and other qualities fall short.

The FZJ-80 Land Cruiser of 1994 (I assume you're in the US) is a very high-quality, capable machine. It has an excellent 4.5L inline 6 that is very reliable and torquey, nice load-carrying capability and space, many have third-row seats to carry 7 passengers, and differential lockers are available. Even with the larger engine, I believe the FZJ-80 would deliver better fuel economy than the H3.

The H3 is based on the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon pickup trucks, which are not very impressive vehicles. The 5-cylinder engine is not overly powerful or fuel efficient, the automatic transmissions shift erratically, and the quality and reliability are lacking. The H3 seats 5 (4 comfortably), although there are aftermarket 3rd-row seats available.

Both have full-time 4wd and available differential lockers.

The FZJ-80 would also cost much less.

If you are concerned with image, the H3 is generally scoffed at in 4wd circles, while the FZJ-80 is highly-respected.|||Hummer is one fo the worst cars ever designed (I wonder why they discontinued it...), but the land cruiser isn't toyota's best car...

If you wanted to buy it, Toyota Land Cruiser would be the better deal, at around $2,000 - $4,500, and would be more reliable then the 08 hummer H3, although the hummer would have technology. Though the hummer would cost more, around $20,000-30,000

If you were just comparing it, the Hummer would be better overall, only because of all the updated controls and stuff. But the hummer would still be less reliable, and would get about the same MPG as the toyota from 14 years before it.

5 ppl can fit in a Hummer H3, and the milage (really sucky) is 13 mpg in city, 16 mpg on HWY.|||1 The Hummer

#2 Ford Pinto

#3 Any Yugo

#4 A dead horse

#5 Toyota Land Cruiser.

AND IN THAT ORDER.

.|||Well these guys seem to think the land cruiser ismore reliable but believe it or not a 2008 hummer is more reliable cuz it's newer
