What will happen to the U.S Military use of the Hummer now that GM sold it to the Chinese?

I'm worried when I heard the Chinese are buying Hummer. I mean this vehicle is used by the U.S Military and we're giving out our technology to the Chinese. What will this mean to the Army?|||First, this is not a military related question.


Second, its those CEO's fault for making our economy go down the drain for GM to get bankrupted and selling hummer to the chinese.


Not really, our military has a higher technology then the real HUMMER we use for regular cars.


We have better technology, dont worry about it.|||I don't have an answer, just a comment.





This is actually a VERY good question, and I did not think of this when I read the article about Hummer going to China...





Maybe it's just the consumer version, and the military grade one will not be sent over there for manufacturing?

the hummers you are talking about are for rich gas guzzling civilians..these "hummers" have nothing to do with the military and are horrible "updated" copies of the military hummers. The military makes their own humvees..those hummers can't even go off roading..like they can last in a war.|||Technology? Hummer? 1. GM is selling Hummer, you know the gas guzzling costs quite alot civilian version.





2. The military version is built by AM General.|||GM made a civilian version of the Hummer..FMC Corporation makes the military version...two VERY different vehicles.|||They're working on a replacement for the hummer right now anyway.|||Absolutely nothing.
