I have driven a 2004 saturn Vue and a 2007 Honda Civic. I am use to these type of cars they are bigger then some but not huge. I have noticed that the Hummer H3 isn`t much bigger.then the 2004 saturn Vue and a 2007 Honda Civic. How different is driving a Hummer H3 compared to 2004 saturn Vue and a 2007 Honda Civic?|||Well, the Civic is your normal everyday car. The Saturn Vue is essentially a station wagon that is a bit higher off the ground. It's meant to drive like a car.
Hummer H3 are built on trucks and are designed to go offroading. I know you rarely see one offroad, but they are indeed designed for that. Though it wasn't a sanctioned race, I've raced against cars like the Vue ('Car-like SUVs) offroad. I can say that if you plan on taking something like a Vue offroad, make sure you're working for a company that will bring you a new one after it breaks; even the H3 to an extent (They don't do well when lawn darting into the ground off a 8ft cliff. Thank God other people pay for my cars/habit now-a-days).
But, when not offroad, the H3 and the like tend to 'get in the way' of normal driving. They're top heavy, visibility is poor (good luck checking the blindspots on the highway), they handle poorly and are a bit heavy to be 'fast' (they're limited to 99mph as well).|||Who cares, anyone who drives a hummer is an automatic d bag...|||you get 10 gallons to the mile in the hummer..|||Slower
Harder to see out of
Lower mpg
Handles worse
The H3 is built atop the Trailblazer chassis, which is a good chassis but by the time they're done adding all the bling to it to appeal to the superficial groups of citizens, it's more or less a rolling brick.|||its so nice|||1. Very slow.
2. Feels like a higher Saturn Vue, but with worse handling.
